Black Diamond Resources Implements Operational Digitalization

Jakarta, GEN MEDIA - PT Black Diamond Resources Tbk (BDR) has successfully implemented digital transformation in its operations through PT Dayak Membangun Pratama (DMP). This transformation has reached the Go-Live phase and was carried out in collaboration with SAP Indonesia and PT Trimitra Sistem Solusindo (TMS Consulting) as implementation partners. The Go-Live Ceremony RISE with SAP S/4HANA Cloud Implementation was held on July 18, 2023, and was attended by BDR President Director, Donny Janson Manua, and all BDR Directors, namely Edward Manurung, Muhammad Noval Zindann, and Yogi Adrian, as well as DMP Director, Jeffry Tong.

The Go-Live event was also attended by SAP Indonesia Industry Account Executive Lili Hartono, TMS Consulting COO Dery Hananto, and TMS Consulting Project Manager Susi Haryani.

PT Black Diamond Resources is optimistic about overcoming business operational challenges by adopting technology to improve efficiency and accuracy in mining processes.

BDR chose SAP as its Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to meet the needs of integrating processes and reporting across various divisions.

TMS Consulting creates a variety of reports, including production planning module reports for efficient production unit recording, KPI reports for the maintenance plan module that automatically extract data from KPI reports, and others.

"So, the division of job descriptions, which previously overlapped, is now regulated by job roles in SAP, along with authorization," said TMS Consulting Project Manager Susi Haryani in a company statement, quoted on Wednesday, August 2, 2023.

The collaboration between SAP, through TMS Consulting, and BDR began in December 2022, followed by a Kick-Off Ceremony in January 2023, and is on track to reach the Go-Live stage in July 2023.
